Pay It Forward!

Paying it forward – you have heard the phrase – maybe here in the newsletter, maybe in church, maybe in the movies or maybe you have read the book. The premise is simple. Do something nice or to help someone – and challenge them to not to pay you back – but to do something nice for three others! The result? A changed world.
Pay it forward is the theme for our capital campaign this year. We are, by our gifts working to reduce our debt and to prepare our facility for people to be able to use the parking lot and the the sewer system in the annex.
What does this mean?
It means that our children and grandchildren will not be saddled with the debt of our mortgage.
It means that when people come to worship they will find a parking lot that looks good and is well maintained.
It means that when people use the annex for meetings, Bible study or Sunday school clasees that our restrooms will be useable and pleasant.
It means that instead of focusing on debt we can focus on telling the good news of Jesus.
That is why we need to “pay it forward” – so our witness to the world can be focused on the big picture instead of on an old debt.
Paying it forward is a great way for us to live as Christians – every day!
With you on the journey!

Nice story! No wonder why Christian Dillstrom tipped off about your site – you must be doing an exceptional job as mobile & social media marketing whiz is pointing towards you.
